My annual buying trip
Have just got back from my annual buying trip, successful as ever, if not exhausting...keeping control of all the temptations of amazing gemstones, millions twinkling and beckoning to be bought.
All there is to do now is for me to sit for hundreds of hours creating comfortable and beautiful jewels for my first show of the year in Brighton during May for the Artists Open Houses.
Recycling
Fashioning the new from the old...the photo shows a client's old family broach, passed down through generations.
The broach, made of platinum and lovely old-cut diamonds, has become a pair of rings, incorporating one of the stones.
Through recycling, the wearer can have the sentiment of old with a fresh design of this century.
